Does it work?
Yes: it's one of the most efficient forms of heating.
What happens if I get a leak under the floor?
The pipe is thoroughly tested and has no joints under the floor to leak.
Will the pipe sludge up like a radiator system?
Highly unlikely, but the system can be easily flushed through.
How does the running cost compare with a radiator system?
Savings of 20% - 30% can be achieved, and greater savings can be made where
there are high ceilings.
Does it cost much more than a radiator system?
When fitted, there is very little difference.
How long will it last?
A minimum of 50 years, but, with the temperature of the system, you can
expect in excess of 100 years.
Will the floor get hot?
No, the floor will only reach a maximum of 29 degrees C - only a few degrees
above the room temperature.
If this form of heating is fitted upstairs, will I be subjected to the same
creaks and noises experienced with radiators?
No, the system is silent.
